World of Woodstoves Ltd is pleased to announce that a new subsidiary business is being established to provide safety and servicing facilities for stoves and chimney systems.

 

WOOD STOVE SERVICING anticipates upcoming safety legislation – just as gas appliances need regular annual servicing and safety checks, so too may solid fuel appliances.

 

All Sussex Woodstoves customers will receive an annual reminder that their stove may need attention.

 

WOOD STOVES & MULTI-FUEL STOVES

Log stoves & Multi-fuels need Servicing and safety checks. Fumes from logs or coal are dangerous too.

Be certain of this fact – any combustion appliance may produce Carbon Monoxide and other noxious fumes, especially if the chimney is becoming blocked, or the air-supply to the stove is inadequate. Your safety is our genuine concern.

 

SERVICING FEES

Wood &Multi-fuel Servicing from £80 per hour on-site, plus parts & materials. Mileage 1-10 mls £10, 10-20 mls £20, 20-30 mls £30 then +£1 per mile.

Stoves restored to original matt-black colour from £45 to £90.
Stove door seals (glass rope) replaced from £35 to £70.

Hotplate seals replaced from £20 to £30.
Damaged glass panels replaced from £25 to £150.

Spare parts sourced or manufactured (to estimates).
Other issues remedied if possible.

Through qualified associates, we might be able to coordinate gas &oil-fired servicing, maybe on the same day that that we come to check your solid fuel stove. This might help you when planning for the coming Winter.
